My stay at the hotel was a mix of experiences. On the positive side, the surroundings were great for relaxation and leisure activities, with board games available. The indoor setting allowed for a cozy vibe, and the pool area was a hit with my son. However, the room location was less than ideal due to noise disturbances, and the bathrooms could use some updating.

Rooms
6.0
The room was right above the lobby and next to the stairway, leading to disturbances from conversations and door slamming. The outdated bathrooms were a drawback to our overall stay.
Service
7.0
The service was quick to address our concerns and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, higher service standards could be expected from the property.
Location
8.0
The location was great for relaxation and offered opportunities for exploring the area, with lovely views of the grounds. The lobby area with board games was a nice touch.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was quaint, but service was slow and some aspects were lacking, like not making the bed for a two-day stay. The Spanish food was fantastic and reasonably priced.
Facilities
8.0
The facilities were enjoyable, particularly the pool area and the lovely outdoor property. However, the lack of modernization in some areas affected the overall experience.

7.0/10

The hotel is situated in a stunning location overlooking the pool and green mountains, making it a fantastic spot for exploring the area. The rooms could use some updates, especially in terms of air conditioning maintenance, but the service was incredibly pleasant and welcoming. The dining experience was average, leaning towards the disappointing side in terms of quality and service. Despite some areas that need improvement, the beautiful grounds, pool area, and proximity to Stowe area attractions are truly noteworthy.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a musty odor that could have been improved with a filter change/cleaning. Some updates are needed, especially when comparing them with other rooms.
Service

The service received, especially in the Off Season, was very pleasant and friendly. The staff, like Molly, was lovely and made the stay enjoyable.
Location
8.0
The location of the hotel is stunning, with beautiful grounds, pool area, and a fire pit adding to the overall charm of the place. It is a great spot for visiting all the Stowe area attractions.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was average with some issues in meal quality and service, and they didn't attend to our room during our two-day stay, which was disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent, but there is room for improvement in terms of dining quality and general maintenance.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms had balcony views and a mountain view, but they felt a bit creepy and dated for the price paid. The service, especially from Molly with her amazing sense of humor, was pleasant and accommodating, despite being busy. The location was lovely, nestled on a hill between the ski mountain and Main St, offering stunning views. The dining experience was a bit slow and limited, even though the food was fantastic. The facilities were decent, with shared outdoor fire pits being a nice touch.
